About the Author
Heather Ferris was born and raised in South Africa. She graduated as a teacher from the University of Capetown and taught for nine years. She emigrated from South Africa and has lived in Canada, the U.S. and Australia.
In Australia she worked as a consultant to schools and community groups, and furthered her education in counselling and psychotherapy. She also wrote papers and developed curriculums for personal growth groups. Heather has lived in Canada since 1987, and has led numerous workshops on wellness and other health issues.
